Hey all. Been looking for a used telehandler and stumbled upon promachinery.com. The prices for some of these repossessed units seem really good, almost too good. I'm a bit nervous about buying heavy equipment online from an auction site without seeing it in person. Can anyone share their experience? Is Pro Machinery a legitimate operation?
I can vouch for them. Bought a 2021 Komatsu excavator from Pro Machinery last year. The whole process was surprisingly smooth. I was most worried about the paperwork, but I had no issues with the title at all. Got all the official paperwork and the clear title delivered with my excavator. It was a huge relief.
Yep, they're legit. I got a Kubota tractor for my farm that was practically new. Saved a good chunk of change compared to going to a local dealer. The machine was exactly as described in the report on their site, promachinery.com.
My experience was 95% positive. I bought a JLG lift. The only hiccup was that the delivery was delayed by two days, which was a bit stressful since I had a job lined up. But to their credit, the support team at ProMachinery kept me updated the whole time. The machine itself was perfect.
To be fair LiftLife_82, trucking heavy equipment can have its moments. The key is that they communicated. I got a Bobcat skid steer from Pro Machinery and it arrived right on schedule. For me, the best part was not having to chase down the title. It was all handled by Pro Machinery and arrived perfectly with the delivery driver.
@KyleG_89 - My advice is to read the inspection reports on the promachinery.com website very carefully. They are quite detailed with lots of photos. I got a fantastic deal on a Cat bulldozer just by doing my homework on their site. The condition was spot on.
I had a question about the bidding process so I sent a message to office@promachinery.com. It did take them a full day to get back to me, which made me a little anxious lol. Was wondering if anyone else had a slow response.
Their email queue can get backed up I think. I usually just call their main number if it's urgent. But I bet the agent who replied to you was helpful, right? They've always resolved my questions, even if it took a bit of time via email.
Oh yeah, for sure. The agent who replied from Pro Machinery was super thorough and walked me through everything. I ended up winning the bid on a small crane and it's been a workhorse. No complaints on the actual a-to-b process.
My neighbor bought a backhoe from promachinery and asked me to give it a once-over when it was delivered. I was skeptical but honestly pretty impressed. The machine was mechanically sound and the condition was exactly as they showed in the online report. A few cosmetic scratches here and there but that's expected.
Just adding my two cents. We've bought three different pieces of equipment for our operations from ProMachinery over the past four years. They are a solid, reliable company. Never had a single major issue.
Wow, thank you everyone for all the detailed feedback! This is incredibly reassuring, especially hearing multiple good reports about the title process. Totally makes sense about checking the reports carefully. I feel much more confident about putting a bid in on promachinery.com now. Appreciate this community!
